Oriental Salad Dressing

1/8 cup soy sauce
1/8 cup rice vinegar
1/4 tsp each: ginger, garlic, white pepper
1/2 tsp dry mustard powder
1 TB each sesame seeds and sesame seed oil
2 tsp sugar
2 TB Peanut butter or almond butter mixed with 4 TB water
(optional and may be substituted with 1/4 cup oil)

Mix all together well. My favorite oriental salad combo is Nappa Cabbage, green onions, and lot of fresh chinese parsley with chicken and a sprinkle of almonds or peanuts. If you can find the bean thread noodles to fry up for this, it's even better. Fried wonton skins will do in a pinch. I have even had a variation calling for broken up uncooked ramen noodles- it wasn't bad at all.
