No Cook Peanutty Fudge
3/4 cup peanut butter
1/2 cup butter or margarine
1/2 cup light corn syrup
1 tsp. vanilla
3 1/2 cup sifted powdered sugar
1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1/2 cup finely cut peanuts
In large mixer bowl beat together peanut butter, butter or margarine, corn syrup and vanilla. Gradually beat in half the sugar and all the cocoa powder. Stir in remaining sugar; knead mixture on a wooden board until well blended and smooth. Add peanuts by pressing and kneading into the candy. Press the fudge into individual candy molds. Unmold, using wooden picks to loosen corners. Allow candies to set on waxed paper. Or, pat candy into an 8 x 8 x 2-inch pan. Cut candy into squares. Transfer candy to sturdy container to transport.
Makes 2 pounds candy.
