1/2 cup diced celery
1 medium green pepper, chopped

1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1 teaspoon thyme
1 cup frozen peas
1 (16 oz.) can kidney beans, rinsed and drained

Cook okra in a cup of boiling water until just tender. Set aside. Saute onions and garlic in olive oil until soft and golden. Add celery and green pepper and cook until tender.
