Frankenstein Cake




2 boxes pound cake mix
1 can dark chocolate frosting
2 miniature peppermint patties
Black decorator sugar
Licorice stick
2 large pretzel sticks
Licorice lace
2 large marshmallows
Red fruit leather
1 can vanilla frosting
Green food color

Bake two pound cake mixes in a 9x13 pan. Cool completely. Cut into the shape of a Frankenstein face. Frost entire cake green. Add food color to vanilla frosting to make it green. Keep extra cake and use a small squares of cake frosted green for the nose and ears. Pipe two circles of white frosting for eyes and top with a miniature peppermint patties. Use a black licorice stick cut to size for eyebrows. Pipe chocolate frosting for the hair sprinkle with black sugar. Use black licorice laces to create "stitches" on the forehead, cheeks, and chin. Add a fruit leather mouth, and large pretzel sticks with marshmallows on the ends for the final touch.
