Tangy Lemon Basil Burgers
1 egg
1/3 cup unflavored fine dry bread crumbs
1/4 cup finely chopped onion
1/4 cup ReaLemon Lemon Juice from Concentrate
2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
1 tablespoon chopped fresh basil or 1 teaspoon dried basil, crushed
1 1/2 pounds lean ground beef
6 hamburger buns, split and toasted
6 lettuce leaves
Beat egg, bread crumbs, onion, ReaLemon, Parmesan cheese and basil in medium sized bowl with fork. Add ground beef; mix well. Shape into six 3/4 inch patties.
Grill burgers on rack of uncovered grill directly over medium coals 14 to 18 minutes or until no longer pink, turning once.
Or, broil on unheated rack of broiler pan 3 to 4 inches from heat 12 to 14 minutes, turning once.
Serve on buns with lettuce.
Makes 6 servings.
