Three Bean Burger Bake

1/4 tsp liquid smoke
1 tsp Texas Pete hot sauce
1 lb. lean ground beef
1 small onion chopped
2 tablespoon all-purpose flour
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp dried basil leaves
1/2 tsp oregano
1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper
1 can (16 oz) baked beans
1 can (16 oz) green beans
1 can (16 oz) garbanzo beans or chick peas, drained
1 tablespoon mustard
1/4 cup catsup
3 slices bacon, cut into 1 inch pieces
3-4 tablespoon sunflower nuts, optional.

Put ground beef and onion into frying pan. Turn heat onto high and as meat heats up, break apart. Cook until pinkness disappears. Stir in four, salt, basil, oregano, and pepper. Cook, stirring, until thickened. Stir in the baked beans, green beans, garbanzo beans, mustard and catsup. Put into 2 - 2 1/2 quart casserole. Add bacon to frying pan. Cook until bacon is crisp, and drain. Crumble bacon and sprinkle over meat and beans in casserole. Sprinkle sunflower nuts around edges. Bake 35-40 min. at 375 or until casserole bubbles and is heated through.

Makes 4 servings.
