Coney Island Hot Dogs


1 pk Onion soup mix
1/2 lb Ground beef
1 tsp Chili powder
1 cup Water, hot
2 tablespoon Shortening
3/4 cup Catsup

Serving Size : 4

Soak onion soup mix in hot water for about 15 minutes. Strain the onion pieces from liquid. Save liquid. Brown the ground beef in shortening in large skillet. Add seasonings, catsup and liquid drained from onions. Simmer together about 30 minutes.
