Corny Dogs
2/3 cup cornmeal
1 tsp. salt
1 cup flour
2 tablespoon sugar
1-1/2 tsp. baking powder
2 tablespoon oil
1 egg, slightly beaten
Approximately 1 cup milk
8 hot dog franks
Oil for frying
Preheat oil in deep fryer to 350'. Combine dry ingredients and mix well. In separate bowl, combine oil, egg and milk. Add to dry mixture and stir well. Wipe excess moisture from franks. Dip in batter and deep fry at 350'.
