Delicious, when paired with
Bella Sera® Delle Venezie Merlot

1 Medium onion, chopped
2 Cloves garlic, minced
2 T Olive oil
1 26 oz. Jar, marinara sauce
1 T Italian seasonings
2 Cups Ricotta cheese
2 Cups Mozzarella cheese
1 bag Fresh prewashed spinach leaves
9 Lasagna noodles, cooked and drained
1/2 Cup Shredded parmesan

In a large skillet, heat oil over medium high head. Sauté onions and garlic until soft. Add marinara sauce and Italian seasoning, let simmer 5 minutes. Spread a thin layer of the sauce at the bottom of a 13x9-inch baking dish. Lay three lasagna noodles on the sauce. Spoon desired amount of ricotta, sprinkle mozzarella, and layer fresh spinach leaves on top, then finish with another layer of sauce. Repeat layering process until ingredients are gone. Top with parmesan. Bake for 40 minutes or until heated through. Let stand 10 minutes before serving.
