Homemade Kahlua


Serving Size : 10

4 cups water
4 cups sugar
2 ounces instant coffee granules
1 vanilla bean, split
1 fifth vodka

Simmer water, sugar and coffee granules in a small saucepan until sugar dissolves. remove from heat and allow to cool. Put vanilla bean and vodka in a gallon bottle and fill with coffee syrup. Cover and let sit in a cool dark spot for 1 month. Strain through triple cheesecloth into bottles.
