Banana Chocolate Muffins


1 tablespoon baking powder
2 cup flour
1/3 cup sugar
3 tablespoon cocoa
1 1/4 cup mashed banana
2/3 cup milk
1/3 cup oil
1 egg, beaten
6 oz. semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/2 cup chopped walnuts (optional)

Combine baking powder, flour, sugar and cocoa. Blend in milk, oil, egg and banana until moistened. Mix in chocolate chips. Spoon batter into 12-cup muffin tin, greased or with with paper liners. Serve warm.
