Fettuccine Carbonara 2
2 lg. green onions, diced
olive oil
6 slices bacon
SAUCE:
3 egg yolks, beaten
1/2 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Sauté onions in olive oil until glazed not brown. Add bacon and cook until done. Drain grease. Cook pasta (green or white) about 12 minutes. Drain. Heat over low heat until smooth, add onions and bacon. Pour over cooked pasta.
