Prosciutto and Sun Dried Tomato Pasta

1 lb pasta
1/4 cup fresh chopped basil (use more if you'd like)
1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
1/4 tablespoon butter
4 -8 cloves garlic, minced (I usually use 6 good size cloves);
1/2 cup chopped and drained sun dried tomatoes; use those bottled in olive oil
1/2 lb prosciutto; slice in strips
crushed red pepper to taste
freshly shaved Romano or parmesan to taste

After doing all of your chopping, boil the water and add the pasta. In a skillet, heat up the 1/4 cup olive oil and butter. Add the garlic. Sauté for about 1-2 minutes (before browning). Then add in your prosciutto, and crushed hot pepper flakes. Sauté for another 2 minutes, until the pros. is just beginning to brown. Add in the sun dried tomatoes and basil and sauté for 1-2 minutes. Once pasta is drained, toss in the sauce and serve in dishes. Add freshly shaved cheese to taste!
