Foolproof Vinegar Pie Crust
3 cup flour
1 egg, beaten
1 cup shortening
1 tablespoon vinegar
7 tablespoon ice water
Cut shortening into flour until mixture is about the size of small peas. Add remaining ingredients and mix thoroughly. Roll out on floured board as with any pastry; place in 9-inch pie pan and flute edges. Bake in 400 degrees oven until light brown.
