Kentucky Derby Pie

2 eggs
1/2 cup margarine, melted and cooled
1 cup pecans
1 cup chocolate chips
1/2 cup flour
1 cup sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla

I have heard of a Kentucky Derby Pie and have even eaten a piece. They are so sweet and so rich that you want to have some ice cream to cut some of the sweet.

Mix flour and sugar, add eggs and melted margarine. Then add nuts, chips, and finally fold in vanilla. Pour into unbaked pie shell. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 - 45 minutes. Pie is done when it looks like a crust has formed on top.
