Peach Pie (Crumbly)


1 9 inch pastry bottom layer
1 cup sugar
1/4 cup flour
1/8 teaspoon nutmeg
3 2/3 cups butter
8 large fresh peach halves
1/4 cup water

Serving Size : 6

Mix sugar, flour and nutmeg. Cut in butter until crumbly. Sprinkle half the crumb mixture in 9 inch pastry lined pie pan. Arrange peach halves over the crumbs and cover with remaining crumb mixture. Add water and bake in hot oven 450*F. 110 minutes then in a moderate oven at 350*F about 30 minutes.
