Spice Dusted Pork Chops

1 tablespoon flour
1/2 tsp chinese 5 spice powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1 tablespoon oil
1 cup ruby port wine
1 cup apple juice
4 1-1/2 inch center cut pork chops

Preheat oven to 350 deg F.

Combine flour, Chinese 5 spice powder, salt and pepper. Dust pork chops with the mixture.

Sauté the chops in oil in a large skillet until golden, about 4 minutes per side.

Transfer to baking dish and bake for 8 to 10 minutes, until just cooked through. Add wine and apple juice to skillet. Boil for 12 to 14 minutes, until thick and syrupy. Return chops to pan, turning to coat with glaze. Serve with remaining glaze.

Makes 4 servings.
