Cranberry Pudding


2 heaping cups washed cranberries (cut in half)
1-1/3 cups flour
1/2 cup Brer Rabbit (green label) molasses
1/3 cup hot water
2 teaspoons baking soda
Pinch of Salt

Pour molasses over berries mixture. Stir in flour and salt, then add water and baking soda, stir. Pour into top of double boiler and steam for two hours. Be sure to keep water in bottom of double boiler and at boiling point. Serve in bowls with sauce.

Sauce:
1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup cream
1 cup sugar

Heat in regular pan. Stir occasionally.
