Brandy Sauce 5
2 cups hot water
1 c. sugar
1-3 tablespoon brandy
2 tablespoon cornstarch
2 tablespoon butter
Mix sugar and cornstarch, add boiling water gradually, stir constantly. Cook 8-10 minutes, add brandy, and butter, and a touch of nutmeg if desired. May use Kirsch in place of brandy.
