Custard Sauce 2

(see also Strawberry Tamales)

2 eggs (slightly beaten)
3 tablespoons sugar
1/8 teaspoon salt
1 1/3 cup milk (scalded)
1 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1/4 tespoon nutmeg

Combine eggs, sugar and salt in saucepan. Place on very low heat, Add milk slowly. Cook stirring constantly until mixture thickens. Cool quickly. Stir in vanilla and nutmeg.
