Hot Fudge


6 oz bittersweet chocolate
1 can sweetened condensed milk
2 Tablespoons butter or margarine
2 Tablespoons water
2 Teaspoons vanilla

Put all ingredients into a saucepan and warm over low to medium heat until combined. Do not boil. Allow to cool slightly before serving over ice cream or all of the ice cream melts! this makes a delightful fudgy sauce, thick and rich. the flavor varies tremendously depending on the chocolate used. Experiment using milk or dark, if you like.
