Mixed Fruit Sauce


3 small cartons whipping cream
6 egg yolks
1/3 cup sugar
1/4 tsp. almond extract

Heat cream in double boiler until bubbles form around edge. Mix eggs and sugar well; use a wire whisk and add slowly to cream. DO NOT BOIL. Use any fruit such as oranges, grapes, cherries, bananas, peaches.
