Raisin Sauce For Baked Ham


1 cup seedless raisins
1 cup brown sugar
3 cups water
2 tablespoon cornstarch
1 tablespoon cold water
1/4 cup lemon juice

Cook the raisins, sugar, and water until the raisins are puffy and soft, about 20 minutes. Add the cornstarch, which has been dissolved in the cold water, and the lemon juice. Cook until clear, about 5 minutes. Makes 3 cups.
