1 lb. cod filets
1 tablespoon flour
1 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon peanut oil
2 tablespoons sugar
2 tablespoons vinegar
1 tablespoon soy sauce
2 tablespoons catsup
1 tablespoon cornstarch
1 Green pepper, sliced
1 Onion, sliced
Rib fish with flour and salt. Heat oil in skillet, add fish, brown on both sides. Add 3/4 cup water, cover, reduce heat to medium, simmer 12 minutes. In anothr pan, mix sugar, vinegar, soy sauce, catsup, and cornstarch. Add green pepper and onion and cook, stirring until sauce is thickened and clear. Place fish on platter, and pour sauce over.
