Prawns in Chili Sauce
12 prawns
1 tbspoon soy sauce
1.5 tbspoons cooking wine
2 tbspoons ginger (chopped)
1 stalk green onion (chopped)
2 tbspoons garlic (chopped)
4 chili peppers
6 tbspoons oil
8 tbspoons ketchup
2 tbspoons sugar
2.5 tspoons salt
Wash prawns. Cut off tail end to drain.
Slit backs. Remove veins. Cut each prawn into 3 sections.
Marinate prawns in soy sauce and wine.
Heat 3 to 4 tbspoons oil to frying pan. Fry prawns till skin turns pink. Set aside.
Add remaining oil. Fry ginger, green onion, garlic and peppers. Add seasonings. Remove fried prawns to pan.
Mix well. Serve while hot. Enjoy!
