Sesame Soy Beef Stirfry

3 tablespoons soy sauce
2 teaspoons dark sesame oil
1 pound beef round tip steaks, 1/8 to 1/4 inch thick
1 (16-ounce) package frozen broccoli and red pepper
2 teaspoons cornstarch, dissolved in 1/3 cup water

Combine soy sauce and sesame oil in a bowl; remove and set aside 2 tablespoons. Stack steaks; cut lengthwise in half and then crosswise into 1-inch-wide strips. Toss with marinade in bowl. Heat large, nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Add beef and stir-fry 1 minute or until exterior is no longer pink. (Do not overcook.) Remove from skillet. In same skillet, combine vegetables and 1/4 cup water; cook 5 minutes or until water is almost evaporated and vegetables are hot. Combine cornstarch mixture and reserved marinade; add to vegetables. Cook and stir 1 minute, or until thickened and bubbly. Return beef to skillet and heat through.

Makes 4 servings.
