Green Beans Almandine


Makes 2 servings

1 cup frozen cut green beans
2 teaspoons water
2 tablespoons slivered almonds, toasted
1/2 teaspoon lemon juice

Place green beans in a small nonmetal bowl. Sprinkle with water. Micro-cook, covered, on 100% power for 5 to 6 minutes or just till tender. Let stand, covered, while preparing spread mixture. For spread mixture, in a custard cup micro-cook spread uncovered, on 100% power for 30 to 45 seconds, or till melted. Stir in toasted almonds and lemon juice. Drain green beans; spoon spread mixture over green beans.
