Iced Tea (Tea, Black Loose) for 100

Servings: 1 1/2 gallon Strong Tea
Portions: 2-8 oz Glasses (5 oz tea and 3 oz crushed iced) Each

12 1/4 oz (4 1/8 cups) black, loose tea
6 1/2 gallon water, cold

Place black, loose tea in a cloth bag large enough to hold 3 times the amount. Tie top of bag. Bring 1½ gallon water to a boil: turn off heat; add tea bag. Allow to steep 3 to 5 minutes. Remove bag. Pour hot tea into 6 1/2 gallon cold water.

NOTE:
YIELD: 8 gallon strong tea.
For each 8 oz glass, use about 5 oz strong tea. Fill with crushed ice.
