4 quarts flour
3/4 cups non-fat dry milk
1/2 cups baking powder
1 1/2 tablespoon salt
3 1/2 cups shortening
1 quart water (about)

Mix the dry ingredients together real well. Cut in shortening. Add enough water to make a soft dough. Turn out on lightly floured board; divide into halves and knead lightly for a few seconds. Roll out to 1/2 inch thick. Cut with floured 2 inch biscuit cutter (don't twist it) and place on baking sheet. Bake in 425 degree oven for 12 to 15 minutes.

Serves 120 people.
