This time, our hero Lara , face new problems, such as new animals, human assassins, traps, etc. A hole new adventure. Lara is dropped from the helicopter in the Great Wall, China. Since here, Lara begins a never ending quest, in search of "The Dagger of the Xian". 
Legend has it that whoever drives the Dagger of Xian into their heart, acquires the power of the Dragon. Marco Bartoli leader of the Fiamma Nera is also after the dagger and will stop at nothing to get it. The game consists of 16 full size levels and 2 shorter ones. Unlike the first Tomb Raider game you are able to save the game at any point. New moves include ladder climbing and a few jumps. Lara can now also use flares to light her way. There are new weapons such as the harpoon and M16, new vehicles like the speedboat and the snow mobile. There are also secret statues for you to collect - three on each of the 16 levels. Lara also get to wear new outfits in this game.
