Tomb Raider III unfolds in a much more non-linear fashion than Lara's previous adventures. Lara will once again span the globe from the arctic pole to the islands of the South Pacific. But this time gamers will be able to choose their own destiny by selecting the order in which they play each of the 4 main levels. There are 5 levels in total. The levels are also more open, with multiple routes to the same end-so choose wisely. Or replay each level, or you might miss part of the adventure. This time Lara is in search of the Infada Stone which is one of four artifacts carved from a meteorite. Like Tomb Raider you are required to find save game crystals but this time you can carry them until you wish to use them. New moves include crouch, crawl. sprint and monkey swing. New vehicles include a quad bike, motor boat, mine car,  Kayak and an underwater unit. New weapons include a desert eagle pistol, a rocket launcher and a grenade launcher.

• New Locations: play in any order as you follow Lara through the South Pacific, Antarctica, Area 51, London and India.
• New Moves & Vehicles: speed-dash, monkey-swing, kayak, & quad bike.
• New Weapons & Enemies: Defend against hyenas, monkeys, piranhas, and the infamous T-Rex with new weapons like the Grenade Launcher, Desert Eagle, and Rocket Launcher.
• Hi-Res Graphics and Dual Shock Analog Control the first time on the Playstation.
