Shrine of Worship

Picture by Dany&Dany, for more art of theirs on this site visit the Art Studio.

10 Things I did to Fuel my Obsession:

  • Made this web page dedicated to the "Interview With the
Vampire" movie and book, and the author of the book.

  • I have shelves attached to my bed, so I bought a beautiful, and expensive :) (the best stuff for the best vampires) picture frame and put in two of my favorite pictures of them together done by Dany&Dany. I put this frame on a cute little piece of material with porcelain figurines flanking the frame from both sides. I call it my little shrine, fitting, don't you think?

  • Bought a bracelet that has a little flower attached to
it saying "BRAT", or for me it says "Brat Prince".

  • I have this corkboard hanging on the wall right above my bead, above the head. I have pictures of Lestat and Louis tacked on as well as a pair of white, old-fashioned gloves, tacked on.

  • Know every quote by heart from "My Favorite Quotes Page".

  • Had a CD made out of the quotes from the "Downloadable Quotes Page"
and a lot of others that are not on there.

  • Asked a friend to do a picture of Louis and Lestat, which turned out
simply fabulous, since I know I can't draw I didn't really try to draw it myself.

  • I cried for fifteen minutes while reading the almost end of "Merrick" (though the rest of the book is uneventful and). And I cried after reading the end of "The Vampire Armand". I'm pathetic, aren't I?). I won't tell which parts since it might give away the ending of the book.

  • Saw the movie "Interview With the Vampire" around ten times.

  • Own all eight books from the Vampire Chronicles and of course read them, and always buying more when they come out of course).

POEMS BY ME:

This is my personal favorite poem,

I Shall

Shall we talk of love?
My hand in a silken glove
Holding your soothing hand tight,
Shall it be morrow or night.
I shall love you to death
With my every life-giving breath.
With your every light touch
I shall seize as such
A miserable creature in a trance
Never to know the thrill of romance.

We shall talk with a natural ease,
And with a cool gentle breeze
Stirring the gold in the air
That never revealed itself there
Where emotions weren't stripped bare.
And as I lay my design out to you,
I shall mend my poor heart, that you slew

NOTE: I started writing this poem January 20, 2001 at around 11:30 p.m. and finished around 12:20 a.m. the next
day. I don't really know who is the person who slew my heart, but I prefer it to be both Lestat and Louis.

Rare Life

All life gone out of me
No fire left to feed the dream
No more love from thee.
The Eyes of hope no longer gleam.
Gone are the ageless gaze
That always sent my heart ablaze
The smooth and gentle flair
That could degradedly ensnare
The sense of caution and despair.

Thy graceful, skillful fingertips
Have lost their sweet caress.
My last breath has passed my lips,
My heart and soul you now possess.

With new and rare life I rise,
Dance and play and sing till dawn.
With you I stay till the sunrise,
Over your quenchless lust I fawn.

"This love," you say "can now endure.
You have captivated my heart,
But for now we must depart."
I feel this intense lure
Towards the abyss
Of never ending bliss.

Can the world be more cruel?
When withholding this,
The eternal kiss
Of an immortal you cannot dismiss.

NOTE: This poem was done on March 10, this seems to be the poem that best portrays the vampire nature among all
the other poems that I have.

10 Things I Love About You

I love the way you make me smile,
When I think of your sly face.
I love that in your presence
My heart can start to race.
When your eyes fall on me
Emotions all rush in.
My heart overflows with love for you
When I think of what might have been.
Most of all I love the vampire
Who's hiding out within!

Come To Me

Ruthless as the elegant moon.
Ghostly as the careless rain.
Cold as the distant stars.
Languid as the gentle wind.
Swift as the churning sea.
Now, my Lestat, come to me.
