Updates Page

I appreciate that you found the time to visit my site, if there is any problem, request, comment, etc please don't hesitate to e-mail me, I'll take anything to improve this site for your liking. If there is any broken link, picture, page please tell me about it by e-mailing me or signing the guest book, if I don't know that there is something wrong I'll never fix it.

Here you will find all the updates of previous months. I will delete the updates after I have 20 entries, I will delete the very last one when I add a new one. 

October 23rd, 2002:

1. 1 new poem have been added to the Others Vampire Poetry page.
2. Blackwood Farm comes out in less then a week, be sure to buy it on October 29th. The booksigning tour for the book has been cancelled.
3. The Vampire Bios page has been updates with the bios of Lestat and Louis.
4. My new website is now open, you can visit "Fractured Prose" at this URL: http://www21.brinkster.com/fracturedprose The site contains my stories and fanfiction.

September 18th, 2002:

1. 5 new poems have been added to the Others Vampire Poetry page.
2. I am working on fixing all the pages with the sound files. Turns out I can't upload them so I'll just link to a page that already contains them.
3. I'm also working on a website that'll contain most of my writing so I'll be very busy this month and maybe the next one.

September 1st, 2002:

1.A new page has been made: Submit Your QotD Review and can be found in the Vampire's Heaven.
2. Soon to come: bio's of Lestat and Louis.
3. For me school starts September 5th, updates could be scarce because of this.

August  22nd, 2002:

1.Queen of the Damned DVD and VHS hits stores on August 27th. Don't forget to buy your copy.
2. I'm trying to fix everything including all the broken links. But due to difficulties I've disabled the following pages: Queen of the Damned Soundtrack, Interview with the Vampire Soundtrack, and the Downloadable Quotes pages. You can still view them but the sound files won't work. I'm working on fixing this. If you find anything that's not working e-mail me please.

August  1st, 2002:

1.The site has finally moved if you're reading this message. The new URL is www.hostultra.com/~vampirefiles it's longer then I wanted but I don't have room to complain.
2. All the pages have now a blood red scroll bar.
3. The release date of Blackwood Farm is October 29th, 2002. Anne Rice will be doing a book signing tour for this book.
4. The QotD Movie Stills page has been updated with 11 new pictures and the pictures were split into 2 pages.
5. The QotD "The Vampire Lestat" Gallery&Lyrics page has been updated with 3 new pictures.2.  
6. The QotD Review page has been updates with the Score CD review.
7. I am going on vocation from August 2nd - August 9th. No updates in this period.
8. And the latest updates will be noted on the main page from now on.

June  29th, 2002:

1.Well, yesterday was my birthday, I'm 16, and I don't feel too happy. Getting older is  not fun.
2. The Queen of the Damned Soundtrack page has been finally opened.
3. The online magazine The Spook features an exclusive interview with Anne Rice and an excerpt from Blackwood Farm. It shines a lot of light on the book and upcoming projects also she gives her opinion on QotD. Got to www.thespook.com to download the magazine, you'll need an Adobe reader to view the file, which is quite large.

June  11th, 2002:

1.The QotD index page has been updated with the front cover of the  QotD DVD and all the special features of the DVD. Also the pre-order link has been put up fro the WB website.
2. Remember, the Score CD was released June 4th. I have been unable to find it, but I won't rest until I do.
3. The new CD "Untouchables" by KoRn was released today. Jonathan Davis, the front man of the band, was the co-composer to the songs sung by Lestat in QotD and he was also the voice of those songs. And yesterday I had the privilege of winning a pair of tickets to their Album Premiere Concert which was amazing.

May  16th, 2002:

1.The QotD index page has been updated with the front cover of the  QotD Score CD.
2. I got my Cry to Heaven 1st edition hardcover, it's in very good condition, yay.

May  12th, 2002:

1.The QotD index page has been updated the official release date for the QotD DVD, which is August 27th, 2002.
2. Also in the Library a picture of the cover and the synopsis for Blackwood Farm has been added.
3. I have seen Spider-man and I must say that it's an impressive movie. Also I re-read Interview with the Vampire and currently re-reading The Vampire Lestat for the third time.

May  10th, 2002:

1.The QotD index page has been updated with a link to amazon.com to pre-order the Score CD.
2. Also in the Library a pre-order link has been put up for the latest book to come out October, 2002, Blackwood Farm
3. A new page has been added to the Vampire's Heaven page, Commedia dell'Arte or "Lelio Rising", the play in which Lestat played Lelio.
4. I have ordered the first edition hardcover of Cry to Heaven, I'm now collecting all her books in hardcover first editions. Also I bought Servant of the Bones, the hardcover first edition, I owned a soft cover already.
5. A new banner on the index page and news box on the main page to promote the band KoRn and their new album "untouchables. Out in stores June 11th.

May  6th, 2002:

1.The site is moving, as you noticed by the long interval between updates, to it's new home at http://www.vampire-files.150m.com. There are banner adds on every page but that is a small price to pay for so much web space and bandwidth. I will announce on the index page when the move is complete. (This move was never finished)
2. The Vampire's Heaven page has been renovated to accompany the expanding categories of the vampire realm.
3. The QotD Review page has been updated with five (5) new movie moments, they are the very last five.
4. The QotD Movie Stills page has been updated with seven (7) new movie still, it are the very last ones.
5. A new page has been added to the Vampire's Heaven page, it is the Interlude with the Undead  page, this is the article Anne Rice wrote for Playboy magazine quite a while ago.
6. The The Vampire Lestat Photo Gallery and Lyrics page has been updated with one (1) new movie still, it is the very last one in the left column.
7. Three biographies have been added to the Vampire Biographies page: Gabrielle, Jesse, and Khayman.
8. All the pages on the site have been slightly changed, to look better. Some have been deleted due to content that I thought was very foolish of me to put up in the first place. (This will be seen on the moved site).

March 8th, 2002:

1. 2 new pictures were added to the Art Studio.
2. Forgot to mention that the ticker with the US date has been taken down from the index and my Queen of the Damned page, the movie is already out so the date is of no use.

March 7th, 2002:

1. 5 new pictures by two different artists, including two Akasha pictures, have been added to the Art Studio.
2. Marguerite Moreau (Jesse in QotD movie), is appearing as Charlie in a mini-series on Sci-fi channel called "Firestarter: Rekindled" based as a sequel to a book by Stephen King, "Firestarter". It is premiering on March 10th at 9:00 p.m. eastern time and the conclusion premieres March 11th at 9:00 p.m. eastern time.
3. Queen of the Damned dropped immensely on the weekend charts to $5.8 million and the #6 spot. Come on people watch it just one more time. :)
4. The soundtrack to the movie is doing much better, this week it is #28 on the Billboard charts.
5. Coming soon: 30 second samples of every song on the Queen of the Damned soundtrack in Real Player version and Windows Media.

March 1st,2002:

1. 4 more pictures added to the Queen of the Damned Photo Gallery", they are the very last ones in the table.
2. 4 more pictures added to the "The Vampire Lestat" Photo Gallery & Lyrics, they are the last two pictures on each side of the lyrics.
3. Finally, a week later, my review for the movie and the soundtrack are up with 19 movie moments and more pictures coming soon, the page can be reached here.
4. A picture of Aaliyah in Akasha costume, on break, can be found at the Queen of the Damned Cast and Synopsis.
5. Two biographies have been added to the Vampire Biographies page: Claudia and Enkil.
6. It seems that Queen of the Damned earned $15.2 million in it's opening weekend and was #1 for the weekend, congrats. Also the soundtrack has now sold over 30,000 copies.
7. The release date for QotD might be moved back to April 4th, 2002 for Australia. But this was not totally confirmed.
8. And if anyone's interested, I won two Queen of the Damned contests, the prizes I do not know exactly but one of them is a QotD prize pack from the marketing of the movie, yay.
9. Coming soon, all positive reviews from critics and such, for the movie "Queen of the Damned".

February 24th, 2002:

1. Just one little update today. I've changed the two polls associated with Queen of the Damned on the Poll page. Now you can vote on how you like Stuart Townsend's performance and whether you liked the movie or not.

February 23rd, 2002:

1. Saw the movie yesterday, truly unique and it really is a great movie. I'm still working on that big review. It is a very positive review and it will contain quotes from the movie and some pictures to illustrate what I mean from trailers and such that come directly from QotD. Stuart as Lestat, what a good looking vampire. :)
2. News on the DVD of Queen of the Damned, already, posted by Jorge Saralegui, the producer of QotD, are posted on my Queen of the Damned page.
3. A link to the soundtrack site, a banner with Akasha and Wayne Static of Static-X is now on my index page.

February 21st, 2002:

1. I bought the Soundtrack to QotD yesterday and all I can say is go buy it, it is worth the money, so excited. I'm seeing the movie TOMORROW!!!, I really can't wait. I'll post reviews for the soundtrack and movie as soon as I can.
2. The Queen of the Damned page has been revamped, it also contains a link to ordering the poster and complete release schedule for other countries other then US. Some materials were moved to other pages as noted in the following updates...
3. The cast pictures and synopsis were moved to new page made just for them and can be found here.
4.The Queen of the Damned Movie Stills page has been updated with 21 new pictures and the QotD poster was moved to there as well.
5. The Vampire Lestat logo was put onto "The Vampire Lestat" Photo Gallery and Lyrics page and the lyrics were slightly changed after listening to the CD, for the better.
6. Two new pictures added to the Art Studio, a picture of Lestat with a microphone, most probably during the Death Valley concert is one of the pictures, fitting isn't it?
7. I finally put up my own picture on the About me page. SO many updates today, don't I feel proud? :)

February 19th, 2002:

1. The Soundtrack for the movie Queen of the Damned has been released today, I'm buying it tomorrow and will inform you on my personal opinion of the soundtrack.
2. The movie opens this Friday in Canada and the US. I'm planning on seeing the movie that exact day, Friday the 22nd. I'll try to post a review on the site as soon as possible after I do see it.
3. A new page has been made "The Vampire Lestat" Photo Gallery and Lyrics, this page combines the pictures of the band and all the lyrics of the songs 'performed' by the band "The Vampire Lestat" aka "Satan's Night Out": System, Slept So Long, Not Meant For Me, Redeemer, and Forsaken.
4. Hopefully I'll get to do more updating today, I'm trying to get more movie stills up for the QotD movie.

February 11th, 2002:

1. Well, 11 more days until the premiere of Queen of the Damned in US, I can't wait, personally.
2. The Queen of the Damned page has been updated yet again. There are now lyrics available for System, Redeemer, and Not Meant for Me.
3. Two more pictures were added to the Art Studio by Syzygy.
4. Coming soon: pictures of the band and more movie stills of a higher resolution added to the Queen of the Damned page.

January 27th, 2002:

1. The Photo Galleries were again revamped. Now the pictures are smaller for faster loading.
2. The Queen of the Damned soundtrack listing and a picture of the cover is now available at my Queen of the Damned page. You can also preorder it at amazon.com
3. Anne Rice will appear on "Crossing Over with John Edwards" on the SciFi channel in the US, 8:00 p.m. eastern pacific time on February 3rd.
4. I forgot to mention in the last update that I added posters for sale to the Merchandise page and the Favorite Movies/TV shows page.
